Welcome to Kalispell Public Schools. It is the goal of our transportation staff to provide you with a seamless registration process for you and a positive bus riding experience for your child each year.  Whether you are a returning customer or are registering your child for the first time, we are here to assist you in that process.

We are now offering online registration! - Link to online registration form

The Transportation office will be open for the 2018/2019 school year bus registration process starting on August 6th, 2018.  You can register online at any time. Or you can visit our office in person to register your child for bus services.  If you reside inside the three (3) mile limit, you must pay a fee for your child at the time of bus registration.  Applicable fees are listed on the Payment Schedulte  If mailing in a check, please make the check payable to School District 5.  Due to a high volume of calls, please do not call to register students during the month of August.

Students qualifying for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program are eligible for free and/or reduced transportation services.  Students must be approved on an annual basis.  Please submit the Free and Reduced Lunch Program Application to the Food Services Department for processing/approvals.  This form can be downloaded from the district web page.

Due to the opening of Rankin Elementary, there are some changes to K-5 transportation this year.  Please note that some bus stops and times have changed.  Also there will no longer be school to school shuttle buses for our K-5 students.  We will only be transporting students within their school zone.  School District #5 will not be transporting to the S.P.A.R.K.S. program or the Parks and Rec after school program.  Please contact those programs directly if you have any questions.

We look forward to providing another year of safe transportation services to your child this school year.  We can be reached at 406-751-3404 to answer questions related to transportation services.  Our office hours are 8:30AM– 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Our new Transportation Office location is at 514 E. Washington Street (behind Taco Bell).

ALL ABOARD!

It is the mission of the Transportation Department to provide safe, timely, courteous transportation services to our customers.  We are an extension of the classroom and strive to ensure each child is greeted in a professional manner which promotes a safe, bully-free, conducive learning environment.
