The Patricia Grodd Poetry Prize for Young Writers
 
The Patricia Grodd Poetry Prize for Young Writers is an annual contest for poets who are sophomores and juniors in high school. The Kenyon Review will publish the winning poem and two runners-up, and the winning poet will be offered a full scholarship to the Kenyon Reviews summer workshop for high school aged writers, the Young Writers program.
  • Eligibility:  Sophomores and Juniors only
  • Length:  No limit - only one unpublished poem per poet will be considered.
  • Participants must register online at The Kenyon Review website. On the online form, you must include:
    • Date of Birth
    • Year in School
    • School Name (Flathead High School)
    • City where you live
  • Awards: 
    • First Place:  Full scholarship to the Kenyon Review Summer Workshop
    • Second Place:  Poem published in the Kenyon Review
