  1. The FHS Food Court will serve breakfast and lunch as usual on both days of the block schedule.
  2. Lunch for freshmen on Day 1 is a “closed” campus and 55 minutes in length. The campus is “open” at lunch for grades 10-12.
  3. Lunch on Day 2 is “open” for all students. Students do not need to remain at school to eat lunch from 12:50-1:30pm. They are free to leave campus at 12:50pm.
  4. If a student has period 1 late arrival, the student can arrive at 9:40am on Day 1 ready for period 2. Period 1 late arrival students need to make arrangements in their personal life to be in their period 5 class at 8:15am on Day 2.
  5. If a student has period 7 early dismissal, the student can leave at 11:15am on Day 2. Period 7 early dismissal students need to make arrangements in their personal life to be in their period 4 class until 3:15pm on Day 1.
  6. If a student is taking FVCC Running Start classes, we expect the student to make the necessary arrangements to attend their FHS classes if possible. If the student chooses to attend their FVCC class instead, the student needs to make sure a parent excuses them from their FHS class and the FHS teacher knows of the absence ahead of time.
  7. Vo-Ag, Housing Construction, and Welding students are to attend their classes as scheduled on each appropriately designated day.
  8. Students in structured study need to come prepared to work for the duration of the 85 minute period. It is not a "free" period to roam around the facility.
  9. Bus transportation to and from student homes will be on the regular schedule for Day 1 and will depart FHS at 1:35p.m. on Day 2.
  10. Activity practices will run at their usual time on both Early Release Block Schedule days.
