Columbia College - Chicago
Submit up to two entries in one or more the following categories: Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, and/or Poetry.
Manuscripts must be double-spaced (with the exception of Poetry, which may be single-spaced), 12 point font (Times New Roman, Courier, or Garamond), and no longer than ten pages. Submissions over ten pages will not be considered. Students must be in grades 9-12 to submit.
Submission period begins on November 15, 2017, and closes on January 1, 2018. In an effort to conserve paper, we will accept only electronic submissions. Submissions will not be accepted before or after the submission window. You must be currently enrolled in high school classes.
The top three selections in each genre will be published online and will be awarded:
- 1st Place: $300
- 2nd Place: $150
- 3rd Place: $50

Poetry: Tony Trigilio, Director of Poetry Programs
