Semester 1 Exam Procedure

During Finals – January 25 & 26

Students will not be allowed to loiter in the hallways during assessment times.  If they need a place to go, the study hall will be available and supervised.  Students will be required to attend their study hall and structured study unless they are excused by their parents.

We will be serving a full lunch menu in our food court.

The bus schedule before school and after school will follow the assessment schedule.

Shuttle busses between our off campus locations such as Vo-Ag and Construction will transport students using the assessment schedule.

You may use a wide variety of meaningful assessments that consider the learning targets of the course.  The options include performance-based, essay, portfolio, oral exam, written exam, final project, etc.

Grades must be posted no later than Monday, January 30 at 3:45 p.m.

A student may not receive a failing grade unless his/her parent(s) are sent a progress report or are personally contacted prior to the end of any marking period.  The notification must be done in a timely manner and adequately documented in order to withstand a grade challenge. (Notification should occur between January 13-20).
