Flathead High School Bulletin for Friday, January 19, 2018

Winter Formal Dance Guidelines General Guidelines: No admittance without Kalispell High School ID, Flathead High School Student ID or Glacier High School Students ID. No re-admittance. Doors close at 10:00 pm. Random checks for alcohol and drugs will be conducted at the door. FHS Administration reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone for any reason. FHS Administration reserves the right to exit students for inappropriate behavior and/or dancing. Guests: Guests must be pre-approved at main office. Guests must present current high school ID and a Guest Pass. Glacier Students do not need a guest pass.

Winter Formal will be on Friday January 19 from 8:30-11:30pm in the Flathead High School Commons. Cost is $5/person.

ACT Online Prep - ACT Online Prep - Juniors! Please check your school assigned email account. A message from the counselors was sent to you about accessing a FREE online prep for the ACT. There is a link in the message that takes you to instructions for accessing your account. If you have questions about this, see your counselor! Please take advantage of this opportunity to prepare for the test in March!

Early Graduates Lockers All Early Graduates who have lockers on the west wall, you need to have all things inside and outside removed and your lock returned to the main office by Friday, Jan. 19 at 2:00pm. If this is not done by this time, you may be assessed a fee that would need to be paid to receive your diploma or transcript.

Scholarships- are on the move in the Career Center! Make sure you are picking up applications and you aren't missing out on the opportunity to apply for FREE money!

Academic WorldQuest Enjoy global trivia? Join Academic WorldQuest! The competition is hosted by the Montana World Affairs Council and will take place at the University of Montana campus in Missoula on March 6. The winners receive a $1000 scholarship to UM and a free trip to Washington DC to compete in nationals. Interested? Visit Mr. Birky in Room 143 during late lunch, after school, or send an email to birkyl@sd5.k12.mt.us by February 2.

Seniors Considering FVCC for the Fall - If FVCC is your plan or even MIGHT be, for attending next fall--go on-line complete your degree seeking application and then apply for their scholarships ON-LINE! You must apply to their college BEFORE you can apply for their scholarships, but they have money to give so make sure to apply by February 15th!
