Cap and Gown Important for seniors! Graduation is quickly approaching (believe it or not!), do you have your cap, gown, and tassel? If you have not already ordered these items for the ceremony on June 1st, you need to contact Jostens and get them ordered. You only have until early April to get this done so do not delay! Flathead High School does not provide you a cap, gown, or tassel, these items are your responsibility so be sure to get them ordered. If you have a cap and gown but no tassel, tassels will be available for purchase for $5.00 from Mrs. Reilly in the main office beginning the second week of May. If you have any questions about this information, please see Mrs. Reilly.

ACT Study guides Juniors - come by the Main Office to pick up an ACT Study Guide. It's free, and contains practice subject tests, as well as tips on how to take the ACT. Every Junior will be taking the ACT on March 20th, so take time to prepare now. The scores will be college-reportable!

Prom "Viva Las Vegas" Prom is Saturday, March 17, from 8:30-11:30 at Flathead High School. This year's theme is "Viva Las Vegas." Cost is $15 per ticket and are available at the main office. Nominations for Prom King and Queen will be on Monday, March 12 during both lunches. Any students can nominate a senior boy and girl for royalty. Voting for Prom Royalty takes place on Wednesday, March 14, during both lunches. Flathead Dance Guidelines apply as follows: No admittance without Kalispell High School ID, Flathead High School Student ID or Glacier High School Students ID. No re-admittance, Doors close at 10:00 pm. Random checks for alcohol and drugs will be conducted at the door. FHS Administration reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone for any reason. FHS Administration reserves the right to exit students for inappropriate behavior and/or dancing. Guest must be pre-approved at main office. Guest must present Current high school ID and Guest pass. Glacier Students do not need a guest pass

Somers/Lakeside PTA The Somers/Lakeside PTA has extended the due date for scholarship application to March 9th by 3:30. The scholarship recipient will be required to speak at the 8th grade promotion celebration on the topic of why education is important and what your future plans are. You must have attended Somers School District #29 for at least four of your elementary and middle school years and have a GPA of 2.8 or higher. Applications can be found on Mrs. Allen's desk in the Career Center.

Tennis Open Court Open Court for Tennis will be on March 11 from 4 - 5 PM at the Summit. $3 per player.

Girls Track: All girls participating in track this spring, practice starts next week! We will meet in the gym after school on Monday, March 12th. See you there!

Football Meeting Anyone interested in playing football for the Braves next Fall. We will have a Team Meeting, Thursday March 8 after school at 3:35pm in the Little Theatre. We will cover Off-season and summer schedules, as well as hand out summer camp forms and lift-a-thon forms. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Samson.

The Junior Police Leadership Academy will be held July 8th – 14th, 2018 at the Montana Law Enforcement Academy in Helena, Montana. JPLA is open to any high school student, with preference given to first time attendees going into 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. Any vacancies will then be given to graduating seniors or repeat attendees. Please see Officer Bain for questions and application details.

Senior Party Tickets Attention Seniors! The tickets for your Crosstown Craze Graduation Party are on sale at the main office. In the month of March the cost will be $25 with 6 chances at winning the car. In April the cost goes up to $30 and you will get 3 chances to win the car, so purchase early! Get your tickets at the main office

Parking Permits Parking Permits are required for all FHS Parking Lots. Please bring your vehicle registration to the main office to obtain your parking permit. Permits are nontransferable (singular vehicle use only).Students are not allowed to park in front of the main office. Temporary Permits are available in the main office for when you are driving a replacement car for a short period of time. Street Parking permits are available from the city of Kalispell.
