We have a busy year ahead! English 10 Honors is a yearlong one credit course that focuses on critical analysis of literature, expanding and improving writing and speaking skills, and exploring the role of media in today’s society. English 10H is part of the advanced English honors program which culminates in the English 11/12 IB courses.
Throughout the course of the year, we will cover: Fahrenheit 451, literary analysis and writing, extemporaneous speaking, media literacy, expository speaking, grammar, media and cultural issues, Much Ado About Nothing, research paper writing, To Kill a Mockingbird, debate, and oral storytelling.
