Eleven Glacier High School students have risen to the top in Montana and are traveling to the National Business Professionals of America (BPA) national competition and leadership conference. BPA is a leading Career Technical Student Organization for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other career related fields. BPA has more than 51,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states.
On March 11, Twenty Glacier students who had qualified during a regional competition, traveled to Billings to compete at the State Leadership Conference. They joined 1,400 students from around the state to compete in a variety of business and information technology events. These events included accounting, entrepreneurship, network design, management, marketing and public speaking events.
Eleven Glacier students succeeded in the highly competitive contests and became national qualifiers! They are committing to travel to Orlando, Florida to attend the National Leadership Conference May 9-14
Trey Shields finished in second place and Tristen Lang placed third in the Extemporaneous Speech competition. Annalise Mcguire-Fender finished fourth in Banking & Finance. Kennedi Fisher, Kennedy Robbins, Noah Mosher and Tyler Brockman placed second in Administrative Support Team. Olivia Ogle, Selena Ikeda, Brittyn Olsen & Colin Hill will be participating in the leadership program.
