College Visitations

A representative from MSU Northern will be visiting the Career Center on Thursday, February 11th at 1:30 pm.

If you are interested in learring more about what MSU Northern has to offer, come to the Career Center Thursday, 6th period.

Seniors:

If you have not already done so, stop by the Career Center to pick up your 2009-2010 Scholarship Packet and scholarship applications that are now out.

Meetings

STAND
There will be NO STAND meeting this Sunday, February 7th.

The next STAND meeting is scheduled for Sunday, February.14th at 6:00 p.m. at the Flathead CARE Office.

Traffic Report

There are only a few openings remaining in the February 16th traffic education class. 

The next class will begin on March 15th. 

Glacier High School students can acquire a complete schedule of classes and enrollment information at the GHS Main Office.

Information is also available on the Traffiic Safety Education Website.

Writing Center Closed to Passes TODAY & Wednesday

Staff and Students:

The Writing Center will be closed to all passes TODAY, Tuesday, February 9th, and TOMORROW, Wednesday, February 10th, due to all Juniors taking the MUSWA. 

Graduation Products to Arrive Soon

Graduation products will be delivered on February 25th from 10:00 a.m. –2:00 p.m. in the Commons.

Musical Night for Haiti Planned

There will be a "Musical Night for Haiti" held on Saturday, February 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the Glacier High School Performance Hall, featuring the Glacier Echoes, the FHS Choralaires, Rob Quist and Jack Gladstone, the “House of Quist” with Guthrie and Halladay Quist and other local talent. 

All proceeds to benefit the orphans and refugees in Pignon, Haiti. 

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10.00 or a donation plus a food item for the local food banks. 

For information, call Pat Freebury. 

Checks should be made out to Haiti Mercy Mission, and they will share the proceeds with Campbell’s Home of Hope.

Dodgeball Starting Up

Dodg ball Fans:

The time has come.  Signups for dodge ball have begun. 

Please pick up a roster from either Mr. Robins or Mr. Weaks

Rosters are due back by next Friday.

The first game is Tuesday Feb 16th.

Girls State Apps Due TOMORROW

Junior Girls: 

This year Girls State will be held at Carroll College in Helena from May 29th – June 4th.

If you are interested in government and current events, have high moral character, strong leadership abilities, and above average scholastic standing, Girls State is for you!

Stop by the Career Center today to learn more and to pick up your application.

Don’t delay applications are due February 10th, 2010.

How YOU  Can Speed Up Lunch Line Service: 

Put money in your lunch account. 

When getting lunch, have your Student ID card or your money out and ready. 

If you are on the breakfast and/or lunch program, select the items that are covered by that program. 

Ask our friendly lunch ladies if you need help. 

This will help speed up the lines not only for you, but for everyone!!

Renew Free & Reduced Lunch Status

To renew your status for free and reduced lunches for the 2009-2010 school year please fill out a new form and drop it off at the Main Office.
