You need to use a web browser that is Java enabled in order to use ParaChat. If your browser is not Java enabled you will not see the chat room. You will instead receive a message that says "Sorry your browser is not Java enabled".
Windows 95 users:
Netscape 2.0, or higher and Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher
Macintosh users:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.01b or Netscape 4.0 (will not work reliable
with Netscape 3.0)
Windows 3.1 users:
Netscape 3.01 Beta with Java for Windows 3.1
You only need to fill in the box labeled User Name in the chat room below. Your user name must be at least 6 characters long. If the name you type is password protected, try another name. Try a unique name such as your first name and your state (ie randywv or billmontana).
You do not need to enter your Email Address, Full Name, or a Password (unless you want lots of email from the maker of the chat program!).
