The School Board has given the green light for the Middle School Steering Committee to move forward in the creation of Kalispell Middle School! Please check out the Approved Proposal link to see the plan.  We have been busy with curriculum development, planning an advisory program (Home Base), forming the teams, creating a schedule, and transitioning for the middle school.

We would like to thank all of those staff and parents who participated in the development of our plan through service on a sub-committee or by sharing research and professional opinions at one of our many input sessions. It has helped to provide a solid foundation at the middle level that continues to support the district's vision for its students.

The new 6th grade wing is complete and houses the office staff this year, the new gym is all done and being used by current KJHS gym classes as well as after school activities, and construction for the cafetorium should be completed by the end of May.
