Objectives: This course is designed for students to gain knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of a healthy lifestyle. In Fitness Conditioning students will participate mostly in group fitness activities with limited sports and games. Emphasis is on information and skills necessary to develop: cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, muscular endurance and flexibility. This is done through activities that may include: Endurance weight training, Plyometrics, Yoga, Sprint Mechanics, basic Calisthenics and Interval Training.
