Math Competitions

An annual mathematics competition for students in grades 7-12 held at Flathead Valley Community College this year. Each participant must register to take 3 tests (each test is 30 minutes) and the optional Team Test can have up to 5 students on a team. Regional and state scholarships and awards can be earned. If interested, attend at least one practice prior to Flathead's registration deadline. 
The FHS Math Department will cover the $3 registration fee and provide transportation for this School Sponsored event.

Trig Star Program Contest     April/May
An annual high school mathematics competition sponsored locally by the Northwest Chapter of the Montana Association of Registered Land Surveyors and based on the practical application of Trigonometry.  This test is scheduled in the late spring.  Students can compete for awards and scholarships, in addition to moving onto state and national levels of competition.
