The Guidance Office at KMS provides a variety of services to students ranging from personal counseling to help with enrollment, scheduling, course selection, and decision making. All counseling is confidential. Students are encouraged to seek counseling for help in identifying problems, making important decisions and resolving conflict. Small support groups are available to bring together students with similar concerns for joint problem-solving peer support. Our counselors have a variety of resources to help students be successful, including information on special tutor programs and community-based assistance. Students with concerns of any nature are strongly encouraged to visit the Guidance Office. Appointments or drop-in visits are options.

Enrollment is now online. To enroll a 6th, 7th, or 8th grader at Kalispell Middle School please use the Enrollment Link below.
https://www.sd5.k12.mt.us/content/ecollect
You will be required to upload a complete immunization record, birth certificate and current Utility bill to complete enrollment.
For all questions regarding enrollment please contact Heidi Rogers at rogersh@sd5.k12.mt.us.
After completing the online enrollment, you and your student will meet with a counselor and register for classes. Generally, a new student will begin school 24-48 hours following the registration appointment. This allows us time to notify staff of a new student joining their classes and to make arrangements for a student ambassador to help your child find their classrooms, introduce them to teachers, and join them for lunch the first day they attend.
