SBAC Testing (April 8th - May 8th)

SBAC testing is just around the corner.  At KMS students will test in their teams.  The ELA portion of the test will be assessed between April 8th – 22nd.  The math portion will be assessed between April 23rd and May 8th.  If you have a family vacation planned during this time please let your child's ELA or math teacher know; this will help us schedule as we aim to reach 100% completion rate.

The Smarter Balanced Assessment System will give parents and students more accurate and actionable information about what students are learning. Because these assessments are computer adaptive, they will provide better information about the needs and successes of individual students.  These next-generation assessments are aligned to the Montana State Standards in English language arts/literacy and mathematics for grades 3-8.  Smarter Balanced will provide parents, students, and teachers a clearer window on whether students are on track to graduate high school, ready for college and the workplace. For more information on the SBAC testing process please visit this link; http://www.smarterbalanced.org/about/
