   Join Kalispell Education Foundation for a fun family evening with Grammy award winning children's storyteller and musician Bill Harley. Bill has been called the Mark Twain of contemporary children's music by Entertainment Weekly. Bill is a favorite on NPR's popular children's program "A Pea Green Boat"; last year's Kalispell concert sold out.    Bill Harley is an author, songwriter, storyteller, performing and recording artist. Recipient of Parents’ Choice, ALA and two Grammy® awards, Bill uses song and story to paint a vibrant and hilarious picture of growing up, schooling and family life. In slice of life vignettes that exude warmth, wit and wisdom Harley uses a consummate storyteller’s toolbox of tone, voice, delivery and pace, creating something palpable between himself and his listeners. Awarded the lifetime achievement award from RI Council for the Humanities and an honorary degree from Hamilton College, Bill tours nationwide. His newest book is a series about fourth grader Charlie Bumpers and is filled with Harley's trademark hilarity and heart. The first book in this series recently won The Beverly Cleary Children's Choice Award and is part of the One School, One Book programming.  Bill lives in Seekonk, Massachusetts.
