Welcome to Kalispell Public Schools’ Online Enrollment!

Enrolling is a two step process.

Information for Students Currently Enrolled in a KPS School (Pre-K through 4th)

If your child is currently attending elementary school (Pre-K through 4th) at KPS and you need to enroll for the fall, please log into your PowerSchool Parent Account and fill out the 2021-2022 Fall Enrollment form.  If you have any questions, please contact your child(ren)'s school.  Click Here for more information

Note: If you wish to complete a K-5 Out of Neighborhood transfer request, it can also be found in your PowerSchool portal.  For high school transfer requests can be found here.

Information for Students who are NOT Currently Enrolled in a KPS School

Please click the link below to access and complete the enrollment form. Once you submit the enrollment form the school registrar will review it.  They must approve it prior to you being able to continue on to Step 2. This can take up to 48 hours depending on when your form was submitted.  During the summer hours our response times are varied.

Please be aware that NEW Student Kindergarten enrollment does not begin until April 1st.

Important Note on Elementary Enrollment for NEW Students to the District:

KPS tries to place all students in their neighborhood zoned elementary school.  However, our schools do fill up fast.  Please enroll your student as soon as possible.  Students new to the district enrolled before June 1st will have prioritization to get into their school.

Please Note: Your preferred school is your neighborhood school.

  • If you want to attend a different school, you will have to fill out a transfer form which will be accessible during Step 2 of the enrollment process.
