What are the Elementary School District Levy Investments?

The requested elementary safety levy amount is $1.5 million. The requested elementary school technology levy amount is $1.6 million. 

SAFETY LEVY TOP FIVE FACTS 

  1. If approved by voters, the elementary safety levy would

    ensure funding for Kalispell Police Department School Resource Officers and increase their capacity to train community members on campus security/safety teams.

  2. The elementary safety levy would guarantee access to counselors, mental health professionals and other support staff on all campuses.
  3. This levy also would fund a district wide suicide prevention specialist.
  4. This levy would invest in advanced communication systems and coordinated emergency response capabilities.
  5. The levy would allow the district to make targeted safety improvements to school facilities over a 10-year period.

  2. The elementary school technology levy would allow our students to experience a personalized education focused on individual needs, interests and areas of strength
  3. This levy also would ensure that every student has access to the classroom technology they need
  4. This levy would support our educators by giving them the tools to inspire and engage students
  5. The levy would directly provide funding for up-to-date technology
