What are the High School District Levy Investments? 

The requested high school safety levy amount is $1.6 million. The requested high school technology levy amount is $1 million. 

 

SAFETY LEVY TOP FIVE FACTS 

  1. If approved by voters, the high school safety levy would

    ensure funding for Kalispell Police Department School Resource Officers and increase their capacity to train community members on campus security/safety teams.

  2. The high school safety levy would guarantee access to counselors, mental health professionals and other support staff on all campuses.
  3. This levy also would fund a district wide suicide prevention specialist.
  4. This levy would invest in advanced communication systems and coordinated emergency response capabilities.
  5. The levy would allow the district to make targeted safety improvements to school facilities over a 10-year period.
