A preview of the kind of thinking Dr. Tucker will bring to the Summit stage in Kalispell this June.
Sessions are organized around four core themes connecting classroom practice, instructional design, and leadership development. Whether you are a classroom teacher, instructional leader, or administrator, there is something here that connects directly to your work.
Strategies that activate student agency, voice, and ownership of learning.
Practical instructional tools, including AI and mastery tracking.
Developing leaders to champion PCBE transformation across schools.
Structures and design for sustainable, scalable PCBE practice.
As you think about your work right now, what is something that is really shaking your summit — pushing your thinking, challenging your system, or demanding your attention? This facilitated session captures the power of the group to blaze a trail forward.
Participants will choose one of four trails based on what resonates most with their current work:
Building the foundation that makes PCBE sustainable — roadmaps, grading, scheduling, and accountability systems.
Leading change that builds clarity, trust, and momentum while protecting staff capacity and cultivating cultures of growth.
Moving from compliance to ownership through student voice, learner profiles, and educator capacity building.
Turning vision into daily practice through competency-based assessment, data, and mastery-supporting workflows.
Each trail follows a structured format — Lay of the Land, Check the Pack, Chart the Route, and Claim the Summit — guiding small groups from challenge to practical first steps.
Also during this time, if your work is centered on work-based learning, join this dedicated trail to explore innovative K-12 career pathways connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences and workforce needs. Topics include expanding community partnerships, career exploration, internships, and hands-on learning opportunities — with an emphasis on collaboration between schools, businesses, and community organizations to prepare students for skilled trades, future employment, and educational success.
