Breakfast and Lunch Prices

Free Breakfast & Lunch for Students this Year Announcement Information

Kalispell School District qualified for CEP(Community Eligibility Provision).

CEP eligibility is based on the percentage of identified students who are enrolled.  Schools, groups of schools or school districts must have an Identified Student Percentage(ISP) of at least 25% as of April 1st of the school year prior to implementing the CEP.  New CEP eligibility threshold effective 04/01/2024 for SY 2024/25(Previously 40% minimum ISP)

Basically what that all means is that students that are enrolled in SNAP, TANF, FDPIR, Medicaid-Free, Homeless/Runaway, Migrant, Foster Care is where they are getting the 25%.  So at minimum 25% of our student body is enrolled in one or more of these government programs, which qualified us to become CEP.

This allows each student to receive ONE free breakfast and ONE free lunch per school day.  If they choose to have additional servings, those would be at a cost to the student/family.  We will still offer a la carte items for purchase that are not included in the free lunch.
