Boys Basketball will have open gym on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday form 6:00am to 7:30am in the mornings. Open gym on Sundays will run for the 10th-12th grade 1-2:30pm and 2:30-4:00pmfor the 8th-9th graders. Skills sessions will be held on Monday and Wednesday from 8:00-9:30pm

Running Start Dan Salois, the FVCC Running Start advisor, will be holding office hours today in the nurse’s office from 1230-330. It is open to all students. Stop in and make an appointment to get information on how you can be taking free college courses while still in high school. Registration starts soon so see Dan today!”

National Honor Society welcomes its new members. There is a mandatory meeting during your lunch in the SSRC on Wednesday

The Orange Project - The counselors will be hosting a lunchtime event next Wednesday, October 11th, called The Orange Project. We will have a table set up in the Commons during both lunch periods, where you can stop by and write an encouraging message on an orange sticky note. The Orange Project is focused on spreading suicide prevention in young people and breaking a Guiness World Record for the largest album of handwritten notes. Stop by, say hi, and help spread a positive message!

MUN delegates there is a mandatory meeting Wednesday October 11, in Mrs. Gustafson's room 224. You may attend either during late lunch or after school. The meeting will take 20minutes. This is required for attendance at the conference.

IB Halloween Carnival Would you like to help host the IB Halloween Carnival this year. Join us for a planning meeting today after school in room 112. This is a great CAS opportunity for the full diploma students, but everyone is welcome to join in the fun. See Mrs. Higgins with any questions.

ATTENTION FLYFISHERS or anyone interested in learning about fly fishing. We will be holding a fly fishing club meeting on Thursday right after school in room 221. See Mr. Putzler in room 221 if you have any questions.

Bravette Basketball Players ATTENTION ALL GIRLS interested in playing basketball for the Bravettes! Open gym times for this fall: Tuesdays 8-9pm Wednesdays 6:30-7:30am Thursdays 8-9pmOpen gyms will begin Tuesday, October 3rd and run through the beginning of the season. Please stop by Rm H-101 and see Coach Dean for a full preseason calendar. Get there and get better for the Bravettes!

Attendance Policy A reminder to all students: You must sign out at the main office if you leave the building for any reason, and your parent must contact the office prior to your leaving and you must sign in when you return to school. If you do not sign out, you will be marked unexcused for the periods missed even if your parent calls after you have left. If you leave campus at lunch time, be sure you arrive back on time. There are no excused absences for arriving late to class after lunch. This includes flat tires, accidents, shopping, taco bell was busy, ext... If you have an appt during your lunch period, you must sign out before you leave in case the appt runs late. Freshman are not allowed to leave campus during lunch. When arriving late to school in the morning sign in at the main office sign in at the main office. Please refer to pages 43, 56 & 57 of your student handbook for attendance policy.

ImagineIF Library’s Anime Club Area students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to ImagineIF Library’s Anime Club meeting on Thursday, October 12 from 4:00-5:30pm. Meet other anime fans and enjoy popcorn and episodes of the anime series “xxxHolic.” The program is free and no registration is required; Anime Club meets in ImagineIF Kalispell’s basement meeting room.
