Honors and Distinction FHS will be holding our Honors and Distinction Ceremony on Wednesday, March. 14th @ 7:30am in the auditorium. The list of recipients to be recognized is posted on the library wall. If you received a 4.0 last year semester two or this year semester one, your name should be on the list posted. Please be sure to check this list for accuracy and report any errors to Mrs. Reilly in the main office no later than Friday, Feb. 16th. You must be present at the ceremony to receive your letter "F", certificate, and academic pin.

4.0 GPA Student that have earned a 4.0 GPA for 1 semester or 7 semesters need to check one more list on the library window. If your name is missing or has been placed in the wrong count column, please see Mrs. Reilly in the main office by Friday, March 2.

She-Ra Girls are buddy visits will be today March 2 5th period (12:30 ) Elrod Monday March 5th 2nd period St. Matt's - Note this is a change due to block schedule on Wednesday. Monday March 5th 7th period St. Matt's Meet in the library at the beginning of the periods.

ACT Study guides Juniors - come by the Main Office to pick up an ACT Study Guide. It's free, and contains practice subject tests, as well as tips on how to take the ACT. Every Junior will be taking the ACT on March 20th, so take time to prepare now. The scores will be college-reportable!

Somers/Lakeside PTA The Somers/Lakeside PTA has extended the due date for scholarship application to March 9th by 3:30. The scholarship recipient will be required to speak at the 8th grade promotion celebration on the topic of why education is important and what your future plans are. You must have attended Somers School District #29 for at least four of your elementary and middle school years and have a GPA of 2.8 or higher. Applications can be found on Mrs. Allen's desk in the Career Center.

Senior Party Tickets Attention Seniors! The tickets for your Crosstown Craze Graduation Party go on sale Today March 1st. In the month of March the cost will be $25 with 6 chances at winning the car. In April the cost goes up to $30 and you will get 3 chances to win the car, so purchase early! Get your tickets at the main office

Dr Seuss Birthday Come Celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday in the library today. Guess how many fish are in the jar and Answer the trivia question to win prizes. Enjoy a piece of cake and a photo op against the Dr. Seuss background. Dr. Seuss would have been 114!! See you in the library.
