Summer School Students who need to make up a class or two during Summer School should meet with their counselor as soon as possible to register. Summer School sessions usually fill, so get signed up early!

TrigStar Contest WANTED: Dedicated and serious math students to participate in the 2019 TrigStar Contest on May 1st from 7:45 - 9:05 a.m. See your math teacher (or Ms. Chilton in Room 232) for more details and to sign-up. Students must be in academic good standing and will be school-sponsored.

Fine Arts Celebration Hello Flathead Students and Staff! You are invited to the annual Fine Arts Celebration reception taking place on Thursday, April 18, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm, in the FHS Library. Come meet the student artists to learn more about their work and to celebrate their artistic achievements in IB Visual Art and all the other Visual Art Classes offered at our school. After checking out the amazing art, be sure to attend the FHS Theatre Department's presentation of "Hamlet" in the David M. Hashley theater. Hooray for the Arts!

Guitar Family Night Crosstown "Guitar Family Night" will be held tonight, in the Flathead High School Auditorium. All students and their families are encouraged to attend. Hear the "Gigantic Guitar Strumming Band" and individual performances. The time is from 7:00-8:30 and the admission is free. For more information, contact guitar instructor, Steve Eckels

Leaders of Tomorrow  If you currently are a sophomore and want to sharpen your leadership skills, learn more about your community and community engagement projects, the Leaders of Tomorrow Program may be for you. Students selected for the two year program will participate in monthly day long events where you will meet community leaders your junior year, and develop community service projects and job shadow throughout the Valley your senior year. This would be an excellent experience to highlight on college and job applications. Leaders of Tomorrow Program applications are available in the Career Center and the deadline for submission is May 13th. There is a fee of $50 each year to cover meals and other expenses. See Mr. Kelly for more details.

Boys Basketball - Open Gyms for the spring are here. Open Gyms will be Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7 - 9 pm. All interested players are welcome. See Coach Gustafson with any questions.

Teen Social All middle and high school students are invited to this month's teen maker social on Thursday, April 18th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm at ImagineIF Kalispell. We will be transforming reusable tote bags into odes to our favorite songs. Whether your tastes run punk or country we'll have the embellishments to match."

Pepsi Cola Scholarship SENIORS!!!!!  Here is one easy scholarship for you to complete!  It’s called the local Pepsi Cola Activities Scholarship.  If you are planning on participating in any sanctioned extra curricular activity in college and have a 3.0 or higher GPA, you qualify to make an application.  All you have to do is come in to the Career Center and sign up on the Pepsi Cola Activities Scholarship clip board located on the counter. Seriously, that’s all there is to it! You have until May 3 rd to register for a $500 scholarship which will be awarded to several of you at the Scholarship Awards Ceremony.
