Perfect Attendance Attention all students with perfect attendance for this year that were disappointed to learn that there was not going to be a car give a way….. well, there is GREAT NEWS!!! Our local Kalispell Toyota, Ford & VW car dealerships have stepped up to sponsor the car give a way for this year! So what that means is that all students with perfect attendance for this year will be in a drawing at the end of this school year for a free car! More details to follow. 2019 Yearbooks HEYYYYOOOO, FLATHEAD STUDENTS! Your 2019 yearbooks will be ready to distribute to ya'll sometime around Memorial Day. The cost is $60. Pay at the front office ASAP prior to picking it up. The 2018 yearbook will be on sale for $50, while the 2017 and 2016 yearbooks will be on sale for $40 apiece. Pay at the front office and save your receipt. Then pick them up in the Commons after Memorial Day weekend before school, after school, and during both lunches. Pay attention to the FHS intercom announcement for when the yearbook staff will begin distribution in the Commons.
Senior Party Crosstown Craze will be on Saturday June 1 from 9PM to 3AM at the Summit. Games and Activities with lots of prizes. Get your tickets at the Main Office. Tickets are $35.
Class Elections: Leadership opportunity for the 2019-20 school year. Now accepting petitions for Class Officers for current Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors: ? President ? Vice President ? French Club Members Calling all French Club Members- Our final meeting of the year is Thursday, May 23rd! We will meet right after school in Room 143 to celebrate an awesome year with treats AND an edible monument building competition. Graham crackers, chocolate, toothpicks, marshmallows etc will be provided but please bring any additional decorations you want to set your monument apart! See you there!
Senior Fees and Fines Attention Senior Graduates-Check the Library windows or stairs by Main Office for your name. If your name is on the List, you owe money for fees and fines. You will not receive your Diploma or final transcript for college until they are paid, so do not delay! Also, see attendant in the library for book and Library fines and see the Cafeteria Cashiers for money owed on your lunch account. The list on the Library Window and by the Stairs DOES NOT include book fines or lunch account balances. You must check this list often as fees and fines will be added up to the day of graduation so it changes all the time. Be sure to turn in your lock from your locker and clean it inside and out, not doing so will add a $25.00 fine which will result in an empty diploma cover for you.
Graduation Baccalaureate A student led, voluntary Graduation Baccalaureate service will be held Thursday, May 30 at 10:00am in the Flathead High School Auditorium. Seniors do not have to wear their cap and gown. Families my sit with their graduates. There are no assigned seats. The Graduation Baccalaureate service is not a school sanctioned event.
ESCAPE ROOM Like Puzzles? Like Racing Against the Clock? Keep your eyes peeled for Technical Theatre's first ever ESCAPE ROOM! Tech Theatre is in the middle of building an awesome Escape Room which will be used as a fundraiser for the department starting next week! Admission will be $5/person with a limited number of spots available! Keep a lookout for more information coming soon!

Running Start students, because of Memorial Day the Running Start adviser won't be back to Flathead until June 3rd, which is the last week of school. This means that June 3rd is your last chance to catch him at FHS before school is out for summer. If you need to see him make sure to make an appointment by signing up in the career center.
Flathead Color Guard Do you like to Dance? Do you like performing? The Flathead Color Guard will be hosting Auditions next week for the 2019 team. The guard performs with the marching band at halftime. No experience required!! Auditions are Tues, Wed, Thur next week after school until 4:45. You only need to make one of the days! Please meet in the cafeteria, and bring clothes to dance in. Questions please see Miss Hadley before or after school in the social studies office or Mr Johnke in the band room. Summer Employment All Students – if you are looking for summer employment, check out the Career Center Employment Board in the hallway just outside of the Center. There are several postings for employment opportunities ranging from being a camp counselor, wilderness restoration, photography with a raft company, working with the elderly, renting cars at the airport, completing research in an agricultural center, working at a resort, completing graphic design – all kinds of different summer jobs. And they all pay competitive wages! Some positions are part time and some are full time, and they will be filled fast. Check out the Employment Board and begin making applications. Summer is only weeks away, and Valley employers want you on board!
Lost and Found Students if you have lost items this semester, stop by the main office to look in the lost and found. All unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity on May 24.
