Do you want a fun way to improve your problem solving abilities, verbal skills, critical thinking skills, mental acuity, emotional intelligence, math skills, and learn logic and efficiency? Come play a game of chess at CHESS CLUB on THURSDAY after school in the B200 pod.  Students and staff of all abilities are always welcome. 

 Thursday is College Spirit Day! As a kickoff to the 2018 Kalispell College Fair next week we want all students and staff to wear their favorite college attire. Students, now is the time to find out where your teachers went to college.

Seniors - Montana College Application Week is October 1-5, 2018. Seniors may submit ONE Montana college application with NO FEE during college application week. Fee's will be waived or deferred during this time. See the Career Center for more information. 

Attention Seniors! There will be an important class meeting Monday, September 24th at 8:15am-9:05am in the Glacier High Performance Hall. Go directly to the Performance Hall instead of your 1st period class. We will be discussing a number of important topics including graduation, the college application process, standardized testing and scholarships. If you have questions please contact Mr. Weaks at weaksc@sd5.k12.mt.us.

Attention all sophomores, juniors, and seniors! If you have a cumulative 3.5 GPA and are committed to service, leadership, and scholarship, you are eligible for the GHS National Honors Society. The membership application for National Honors Society will open up Tuesday, September 11. This year, the application has an online and paper component, so make sure to check the NHS web site and visit the NHS bulletin board in the D200 pod for all of the information. All application components are due the following Friday, September 21.  Please see NHS advisors Mr. Lapke or Miss Connolly if you have any questions.

Remember DECA meets Tuesday during late lunch and Wednesday during early lunch in room A106. See Mr Munro to find out how you can visit Mickey Mouse, the Statue of Liberty and the Grande Ole Opry.  

Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to a Teen Social: Maker Lab at ImagineIF Libraries Kalispell on Thursday, September 20 from 4:00-5:30pm. Enjoy free food, gaming on the big screen and access to awesome new tools! This event is free and no registration is required; teen events meet in the Library's basement meeting room. Read Cafe' is the library’s lunchtime book club.  If you like to read... and you enjoy eating... this group is for you!  The first book club selection of the year is Salt to the Sea, and it is ready for checkout in the library. This page-turner novel is based on the forgotten World War II tragedy that was six times deadlier than the Titanic. Students AND staff are invited. See Mrs. More in the library to sign up and check out the book. Hurry in before they’re all checked-out!
