GLACIER WOLFPACK STUDENT OF THE WEEK  Only the most sincere and enthusiastic students earn “Glacier High Student of the Week”.  Be very proud of their accomplishments!  Senior Sean Hegstad  is selected as the GLACIER HIGH STUDENT OF THE WEEK for the week of April 1st.  Sean was nominated by Mr. Deitz and his name was randomly drawn from the weekly nomination box.  “Sean epitomizes the ideals of GET THE EDGE.  He always strives to do his very best, both in the classroom and on the practice fields. But more importantly Sean encourages his teammates and classmates to be their very best! Great job Sean!”  Sean  has selected PRIME COUNTRY (80’s & 90’s Country Hits) to be played in the GHS hallways during the passing periods for the week.

CROSSTOWN CRAZE TICKETS  Attention Seniors!  The tickets for your Crosstown Craze Graduation Party are on sale now!  In the month of April the cost will be $30 and you will get 3 chances to win the car.  In May tickets will be $35 with only one chance to win the car, so purchase early!

FRESHMEN   If you have strong leadership skills, superior citizenship, and a 2.0 or above GPA you may be an eligible candidate to attend the 2019 Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) Camp. Applications are available in the Career Center, and are due April 1st with interviews to follow April 10th. The Camp will be held at Luccock Park Camp (near Livingston) from July 9-13, 2019. There is no charge to attend RYLA camp, but there is a limit to how many can participate!

ATTENTION ALL JUNIORS   Tuesday, April 2nd all juniors will take the ACT test at Glacier High School. The ACT is a standardized test for high school achievement and college admissions. The test is free and will be administered in the gym from 8:15 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. All juniors will have late lunch.  Please bring a #2 pencil, photo ID, and a calculator. No other electronic devices will be allowed into the gym.

SENIORS   Pay attention to SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINES – they are coming up fast and furious!

HALF CAFE'  The next book club selection for Half Cafe' is available for checkout in the library.  The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 18 during lunch.  Stop in and pick up your copy for some great Spring Break reading!

CROSSTOWN SMOKER  The annual Crosstown Smoker is coming up April 18th. If you want to compete, please sign up in the boys team room ASAP, spots are limited.

KALISPELL LAKERS LEGION BASEBALL TEAM  The Kalispell Lakers Legion Baseball team is having a Batter Up Bash Event Friday, April 19th to raise funds for a new team bus.  Doors open at 5pm at the Fairgrounds Expo Building.  Former Major League All Star Bret Boone of the Seattle Mariners will be speaking.  There will also be a live and silent auction.  Go to kalispelllakers.org to purchase tickets or donate.  Thank you.

JUNIOR POLICE LEADERSHIP ACADEMY  The Junior Police Leadership Academy for high school students will be held July 7-13 in Helena.  To be accepted into the Junior Leadership Academy you must complete an application packet no later than April 26th.  See Officer Fusaro for applications and information!

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK  It’s that time of year again.... Time for the library’s annual bookmark contest in honor of National Library Week.  Show off your artistic skills and get involved in this fun Glacier tradition!  All you have to do is design your own original bookmark using this year’s theme which is:  “Strong Communities.” The deadline for entries is Monday, April 29.  The top three designers will receive prizes, and the winner will have his or her bookmark featured in the library this spring.  Stop by the library for more details.

YOUR ATTENDANCE MATTERS  Please remember, if you have perfect attendance for a month, your name will be entered into a drawing to win a $10.00 Visa Gift Card.  The winners of the monthly Visa Gift Card will then be entered into a $50.00 Visa Cash Card drawing, at the end of the year.  Thank you to the Horace Mann Company for donating the prizes. 

NEW STUDENT STORE HOURS  The student store will now be open every Tuesday and Friday during both lunches.
