Culinary 1 Course of events.

In this course we will learn the basics of kitchen safety, sanitation, and food production methods.  All Culinary 1 students will be required to pass the ServSafe course and their test results will be included in grades for this course. This course will heavily focus on food preparation and kitchen rules and procedures.  It will provide basic skills for cooking and create awarness about the food that surrounds them.

* All Culinary students will be encouraged to join FCCLA, and all courses will have a required FCCLA planning assignment.  

**All Culinary students will have a set number of service hours required for this course, and as such will have appropriate time required outside of school hours to fulfill their course requirements.
